A Yucca Valley man was arrested Monday, following a pursuit on an ATV through residential neighborhoods. According to the Sheriff’s department, the deputy spotted Aaron Wiese, 44, and a passenger riding the ATV on Joshua Lane near Yucca Trail in Yucca Valley, about 8:40 p.m. Monday. The ATV did not have any lights. The deputy attempted to make a traffic stop and Wiese led the deputy on a pursuit for about two miles, finally giving up near Balsa Avenue and Emerson. Aaron Wiese was arrested for felony failure to yield and on warrants, and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $100,000. His passenger was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant.
