1

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday, following a vehicle pursuit. Deputies were called about 2 p.m. because the suspect, later identified as Mark Foster, 42, took the keys to his girlfriend’s white SUV, almost hit her with the vehicle, and then took off eastbound on Aviation Drive. When deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, Foster fled, driving through parking lots by Applebee’s, south on Hilton Avenue and into the desert by the Chrysler dealership. He eventually stopped near Victoria Avenue and Yucca Trail and ran off on foot. Deputies were able to apprehend him without incident. Mark Foster was arrested for investigation of felony failure to yield, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $100,000.
