A Yucca Valley man was arrested Friday morning, accused of trying to kill his mother. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 7600 block of Victoria Avenue in Yucca Valley about 9:40 a.m. Friday because of a fight. After breaking up the fight, deputies left, only to be called back again about an hour later. Witnesses said that Brendan Ellison, 31, choked his mother to the point where she said she could not scream or breathe. They also said Ellison said he was going to kill her and bury her in the back. A witness managed to pull Ellison off his mother. Deputies found him hiding in the back yard. Brendan Ellison was arrested for investigation of attempted murder, booked into West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $1 million.
