Forcible rape and torture charges have been filed against a Yucca Valley-based actor who claims he was an apprentice to master magician Harry Blackstone Jr. Robert Allen Coffie, 42, was arraigned Tuesday for allegations stemming from an April 17 incident. Sheriff’s investigators say Coffie tied up a teenage girl and then used hot metal on her skin for sexual gratification and rape. He is charged with causing cruel and extreme pain for the purpose of revenge, extortion, persuasion for a sadistic purpose, and false imprisonment. Coffie, whose stage name is Robert Allen Dovvie, Jr., has been in 16 films, a Spanish TV game show and performed professionally onstage in Las Vegas. Robert Coffie was booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga with bail seat at of $925,000 bail. His next court appearance is Tuesday in Joshua Tree Court.
