YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF TRYING TO BREAK INTO A WATER VENDING MACHINE

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Monday morning, accused of trying to break into a water machine. Just after 6 a.m., deputies were called to the area of Highway 62 and Warren Vista Avenue because a man, later identified as Thomie Vert, 51, was using a metal bar to try and break into a Glacier water machine, trying to get to the coins inside. After investigation, Thomie Vert was arrested on suspicion of felony vandalism, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
