A Yucca Valley man who told his mother he was going to stab her in the eye with a knife was arrested Friday, accused of making criminal threats. About 10 p.m. Friday, William Igoe, 39, became upset with his mother and threatened to stab her in the eye with a kitchen knife he was holding. His mother fled and called 911. When the deputy arrived at the home in the 7400 block of Church Street in Yucca Valley, Igoe was carrying two kitchen knives. After refusing to obey multiple orders by the deputy to put the knives down, Igoe was tazed by deputies. William Igoe was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats, booked into West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
