A 29-year-old Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday after his parents said he threatened them with a knife. According to a Sheriff’s report, Christopher Williams was arguing with his parents about 7 p.m. in the 55200 block of Airlane Drive in Yucca Valley because he refused to his chores. Williams allegedly grabbed a steak knife and jabbed it at his father, who grabbed his wrist and banged it against a wall to get his son to drop the weapon. The father told the deputy he was in fear for his life from his son. Williams told the deputy that his father hit him twice in the face. After an investigation, Chris Williams was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
