A Yucca Valley man was arrested Monday after he allegedly choked and kicked a woman and threatened her with a knife. According to a Sheriff’s report, a woman went to visit a homeless friend near Onaga Trail and Church Street in Yucca Valley. About 4 p.m., the woman got into an argument with Albert Northcutt, 65. When the woman attempted to walk away, she said Northcutt hit her in the head with a cooler, then threw her to the ground, punched her in the chest and arms, kicked her, and choked her for up to a minute. She also said he threatened to cut her throat with a knife if she returned. Albert Northcutt was arrested for investigation of assault with a weapon, booked into Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
