YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF THREATENING A MASS SHOOTING AT A YUCCA VALLEY BUSINESS

A Yucca Valley Man was arrested Thursday (July 1) accused of threatening a mass shooting at a Yucca Valley business. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies were called to the Yucca Valley Walmart around 6 p.m. after a store manager was informed that an employee’s estranged spouse, later identified as David Crawshaw, 40, had threatened a mass shooting at the store if she did not get back together with him. Deputies began an investigation and, around 8 p.m., located Crawshaw in a trailer in the 5000 block of Roberts Drive in Yucca Valley. During their search, Deputies located multiple firearms close to Crawshaw in the trailer. David Crawshaw was arrested for investigation of making terrorist threats and was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $50,000.
