YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF STEALING FROM FRIENDS AND FAMILY

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday, accused of stealing from friends and family and then selling the stolen items on Ebay. On Sunday, a resident in the 8500 block of Condalia noticed that several items had been stolen from his home while he was gone in May. The victim checked Ebay to see if they had been listed on the site, and found that several of the stolen items had recently been sold by an acquaintance, William Menser, 28.

Detectives served a search warrant on Menser’s home and found additional items that had been reported stolen. William Menser was arrested for investigation of burglary, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $75,000. Detectives believe that Menser was targeting friends and family and that there may be more victims. If you have information about the case, call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
