A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday, accused of hitting his ex-girlfriend. According to a Sheriff’s report, Nick Loving, 28, went to the woman’s apartment in the 56000 block of 29 Palms Highway, hit her on the side of the face, took her cell phone and the keys to her vehicle and then left. The woman went to a neighbor’s house and called police about 8 p.m. After an investigation, Nick Loving was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
