A Yucca Valley man was arrested Thursday night, accused of punching his wife. According to a Sheriff’s report, Jesus Majarrez-Soto began arguing with his wife in the 7500 block of Lucerne Vista about 10:30. During the argument, the woman slapped Majarrez-Soto on the face, and he responded by punching her in the face. After an investigation, Jesus Majarrez-Soto was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
