A 19-year-old man was arrested Thursday, accused of kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman following a date. According to a Sheriff’s report, the victim went to a movie with Damian Vasqez of Yucca Valley Tuesday. Instead of driving the woman home after the movie, Vasquez allegedly parked in the 56400 block of Pima Trail in Yucca Valley and sexually assaulted the woman. Deputies located Damian Vasquez at his residence in the 56200 block of Pueblo Trail Thursday afternoon, and he was arrested for investigation of false imprisonment and sexual battery and booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $200,000.
