YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF SELLING METHAMPHETAMINE

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Thursday, accused of selling methamphetamine. At about 12:30 a.m., a deputy stopped Edward Smith, 54, near Old Woman Springs Road and Tanager in Yucca Valley. The deputy determined that Smith had a warrant out for his arrest for multiple drug charges. During a search of the vehicle, the deputy found evidence that Smith was selling methamphetamine. Edward Smith was arrested for investigation of possession of methamphetamine for sales and on his warrants, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $100,000.
