YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF SELLING METH

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Thursday night, accused of dealing methamphetamine. According to the Sheriff’s Department, deputies stopped Brian Lopez, 35, on Highway 62 and Park Boulevard in Joshua Tree at about 10 p.m. Deputies found items in Lopez’s possession that are indicative of drug transactions and sales. After an investigation, Brian Lopez was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sales and for violating the terms of his parole, and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
