A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday, accused of being in possession of stolen property and providing marijuana to a minor. According to Sheriff’s reports, Deputies responded to the 7600 block of Hanford Avenue in Yucca Valley on Wednesday, January 16, at around 11:30 p.m. for a report of a public disturbance. While Deputies investigated the disturbance, they noticed property at the residence which they believed had been reported stolen from multiple businesses and residences in Yucca Valley. The Morongo Basin Detective Bureau served a search warrant for the location and detectives recovered over $8,000 in stolen pool equipment and property from Home Depot and Harbor Freight. Detectives arrested Richard Bockman, 52, of Yucca Valley at the location. Detectives also believe that Bockman is responsible for stolen packages off front porches in Yucca Valley and there was evidence that Bockman provided marijuana to a minor child on multiple occasions. Richard Bockman was arrested for investigation of distributing marijuana to a child and investigation of being in possession of stolen property and booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $75,000.
