YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF SELLING DRUGS

A Yucca Valley man was arrested last week, accused of selling drugs. About 3 a.m. Friday, deputies made a traffic stop on a blue Honda Civic traveling westbound on Pueblo Trail near Condalia Avenue. Deputies made a records check on the driver, Robert Williams, 48, and learned he had three felony warrants for his arrest. During a search of Williams and his car, deputies found 249 grams of suspected methamphetamine, cash, and drug paraphernalia. Robert Williams was arrested on his warrants and for investigation of transportation of methamphetamine, and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, where he is being held without bail.
