A Yucca Valley man was arrested Saturday after his girlfriend said he punched and slapped her. The victim told a Sheriff’s deputy that she was arguing with Dmarea Lockhart, 25, about 12:30 a.m. Saturday morning over infidelity. The woman said Lockhart punched and slapped her multiple times and also pulled a large chunk of hair out of her head. The deputy observed minor redness to the side of the woman’s face. Dmarea Lockhart was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
