YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF PUNCHING A WOMAN

A Yucca Valley man was arrested early Monday morning, accused of punching a woman. According to a Sheriff’s report, Daniel RubioTrujillo, 20, was drinking with the victim when they began to argue. The report states RubioTrujillo began punching the woman and held her down on the bed. He then allegedly grabbed a beer bottle to hit her with it, at which time the woman kicked him. RubioTrujillo fell, breaking the bottle, and cutting his hands. RubioTrujillo left the scene and called law enforcement, at which time he told them he was robbed and stabbed. After an investigation, Daniel RubioTrujillo was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse and assault with a deadly weapon, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
