YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF POSSESSION OF A STOLEN VEHICLE

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Friday (August 27) accused of being in possession of a stolen vehicle. According to Sheriff’s reports, the Yucca Valley Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) was patrolling the intersection of Twentynine Palms Highway and Mohawk Trail in Yucca Valley when they observed a Chevrolet Tahoe traveling westbound on Twentynine Palms Hwy. The vehicle was reported stolen out of Desert Hot Springs. Deputies conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and contacted the driver, Jason Gieling, 47 of Yucca Valley. Jason Gieling was arrested for investigation of being in possession of a stolen vehicle and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail.
