A Yucca Valley man was arrested early Friday morning, after his daughter told deputies he molested her. According to a Sheriff’s report, a 13-year-old girl, who said she had run away from her mother’s home in the Sacramento area, sent a text to 911 about 1:20 a.m. Friday claiming that her father, Eddie Lowery, 46, had touched her while she was sleeping at his house in Yucca Valley Thursday night. Deputies went to Lowery`s home in the 7200 block of Inca Trail where they found him hiding underneath a mobile home; he was taken into custody without incident. Following interviews with the victim and the suspect, deputies arrested Eddie Lowery for investigation of lewd acts with a child and booked him into the Morongo Basin Jail with bail set at $250,000. The girl was removed from the missing persons database and turned over to the custody of Child and Family Services.
