A Yucca Valley man was arrested early Friday morning, after his daughter told deputies he molested her. According to a Sheriff’s report, a 13-year-old girl, who said she had run away from her mother’s home in the Sacramento area, sent a text to 911 about 1:20 a.m. Friday and said that her father, Eddie Lowery, 46, had touched her while she was sleeping at his house Thursday night in Yucca Valley. Deputies went to Lowery’s home in the 7200 block of Inca Trail where they found Lowery hiding underneath a mobile home; he was taken into custody without incident. Following interviews with the victim and Lowery, deputies arrested Eddie Lowery for investigation of lewd acts with a child, booked him into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $250,000. The girl was removed from the missing persons database and turned over to the custody of Child and Family Services.
