A Yucca Valley man was arrested Friday, accused of hitting a woman with a frying pan. Sheriff’s deputies were called to the area of Mesa Drive and Avalon Avenue in Yucca Valley just before 4 p.m. Friday. The woman told deputies that Minh Nguyen, 56, hit her with a cast iron frying pan, which gave her a bump on her head. After an investigation, Minh Nguyen was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
