YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF FALSE IMPRISONMENT

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Friday, accused of false imprisonment. Deputies were called to 6100 block of Lupine Avenue in Twentynine Palms just before 5 p.m. by a woman who said she was trying to leave the home and Jamal Middleton, 33, wouldn’t let her leave. After an investigation, Jamal Middleton was arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment, resisting arrest, violating a restraining order, and on a no-bail warrant for vandalism. Jamal Middleton was booked into the West Valley Detention Center and is being held without bail.
