A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday, accused of elder abuse. Deputies went to the 7300 block of Barberry Avenue in Yucca Valley about 1:30 p.m. where they contacted Ali Rastegar Panah, aka Rodriguez, 29. Deputies learned that Rodriguez threw a pair of scissors at the elderly resident. After an investigation, Ali Rastegar Panah was arrested on false imprisonment of an elder by using violence or force and was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $50,000. He is also on probation for a previous assault with a deadly weapon.
