A Yucca Valley man was arrested Tuesday, accused of child endangerment. About 9:15 p.m., deputies were called to a single-vehicle crash at Highway 62 and El Cortez Road in Yucca Valley. Deputies found a vehicle upside down, but the driver, later identified as Alfredo Gonzalez, 47, had fled the scene of the crash. Gonzalez, and a small child were later located and received medical treatment for injuries suffered in the crash. Alfredo Gonzalez was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, and child endangerment, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $100,000.
