A Yucca Valley man was arrested for DUI Friday (July 16) after crashing his motor home and blocking traffic in a Yucca Valley neighborhood. According to Sheriff’s reports, deputies were called to the intersection of Acoma Trail and Desert Gold Drive around 6:30 a.m. for a report that a driver, later identified as David Grahm, 41, had crashed his motor home sideways into a dirt embankment, fully blocking traffic for several hours. Deputies responded and located Grahm in the driver’s seat. Grahm was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. David Grahm was arrested for investigation of driving while under the influence of drugs and driving on a suspended license from a previous DUI. He was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail and later cited and released.
