A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday night after he was found with drugs. According to a Sheriff’s report, about 8:30 p.m., a deputy made a traffic stop of a vehicle driven by Jeffrey McCauley, 44, near Highway 62 and Encelia Avenue in Twentynine Palms. During the stop, the deputy determined that McCauley was in possession of a substance suspected to be methamphetamine, and possible drug paraphernalia. Jeffrey McCauley was arrested on suspicion of unlawful sale of speed, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
