A Yucca Valley man was arrested, accused of transporting large quantities of suspected methamphetamine. A deputy made a traffic stop of a vehicle about 11:15 p.m. Thursday near Palm Avenue and Highway 62 in Yucca Valley. Inside the vehicle was Francisco Alvarado-Huerta, 35. The deputy searched the vehicle and found methamphetamine. After an investigation, Francisco Alvarado-Huerta was arrested on suspicion of the unlawful sale of methamphetamine and was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $75,000.
