A Yucca Valley man was arrested Thursday, accused of child endangerment. On January 1, Detective Cathy Tabor was called to Loma Linda University Medical Center for a report of a 9-month old baby with a brain bleed. The case was turned over to the Crimes Against Children detail, and detectives determined that the baby’s foster parent, Thomas Hamm, 47, was responsible for the injuries to the child. San Bernardino detectives from the Special Enforcement Division went to Hamm’s home in the 57400 block of Lupine Drive in Yucca Valley on Thursday at about 4 p.m. and arrested Thomas Hamm on suspicion of child endangerment. Thomas Hamm was booked into the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $100,000.
