YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF BURGLARY AND ASSAULT

At least one Yucca Valley man was arrested Tuesday, accused of breaking into a home and assaulting the residents. According to a Sheriff’s report, a neighbor called deputies about 9:30 a.m. Monday to report that three men, one of whom was later identified as Seth Caudill, 31, broke the doors down to a house in the 7500 block of Borrego Trail in Yucca Valley. The neighbor could hear screaming from the house and sounds of people being thrown against walls. The victims said Caudill and the other men forced entry into the home and once inside, assaulted the victim with his fist, feet, and a wooden object. After an investigation, deputies located Seth Caudill Tuesday afternoon and arrested him on suspicion of burglary and on a warrant for assault. Caudill was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $95,000.
