A Yucca Valley man was arrested on suspicion of burglary Wednesday, after neighbors reported a suspicious vehicle in the area. According to Detective Chad Johnson, deputies were called at 11:38 a.m. about a suspicious vehicle, described as a green Cadillac, in the 56200 block of Cobalt Road in Yucca Valley. Deputy Shaunna Ables located the Cadillac and talked to the occupants, one of whom was Andy Carter, 52. About 1:15 p.m., deputies were called to the 58400 block of San Andreas Road in Yucca Valley for a burglary investigation. During the investigation, deputies linked stolen property in the green Cadillac to a nearby residence that had been burglarized. Andy Carter was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary and being under the influence of a controlled substance, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
