YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF BRING METH IN TO JAIL

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Tuesday, accused of bringing methamphetamine into a jail. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy stopped Eduardo Villegas, 39, near the intersection of Joshua Lane and Onaga Trail about 2:40 p.m. Deputies determined that Villegas had a $75,000 felony warrant for his arrest. When Eduardo Villegas was booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, deputies discovered he had brought meth into the jail, and he was arrested on suspicion of bringing narcotics into a detention facility.
