A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday, accused of breaking into his mother’s home and stealing her boyfriend’s electronics. According to a Sheriff’s report, Gene Oliver, 18, broke into his mother’s home in the 58800 block of Terra Vista Drive in Yucca Valley sometime between March 2 and March 8. Oliver allegedly stole nearly $4,000 worth of electronics from his mother’s boyfriend. When deputies went to Oliver’s residence, they found some of the stolen items. Gene Oliver was arrested for investigation of burglary, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $25,000.
