We have limited information about a Yucca Valley who man is in jail, accused of being in possession of stolen property. About 10 p.m. Monday, deputies stopped a vehicle near Alta Loma and Lomita Road in Joshua Tree. Inside the vehicle was David Underwood, 58. Deputies determined that Underwood was in possession of stolen property, and he was taken into custody. David Underwood was arrested on suspicion of being in possession of stolen property and theft by false pretenses, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
