YUCCA VALLEY MAN ACCUSED OF BEATING A WOMAN WITH A ROPE

A Yucca Valley man was arrested Thursday, accused of beating his girlfriend with a rope. According to a sheriff’s report, Denver Pinkerton, 47, was arguing with his girlfriend last Sunday, February 25, when Pinkerton grabbed her by the hair and threw her to the ground. The woman told deputies on Thursday that Pinkerton then grabbed a horse lead rope and started beating her on the legs with it. The deputy saw several bruises on the woman’s legs. After an investigation, Denver Pinkerton was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
