A Yucca Valley man was arrested Monday, accuse of trying to kill his girlfriend. Deputies were called to the 6300 block of El Dorado Avenue in Yucca Valley about 5 a.m. for a domestic disturbance. According to a Sheriff’s report, Eddie Jimenez, 62, had choked the woman, and prevented her from leaving the room. The woman’s family helped her escape from Jimenez and called deputies. Eddie Jimenez was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $1 million.
