A Yucca Valley man was arrested Wednesday, accused of attempted murder. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 7800 block of Valley Vista in Yucca Valley about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday morning by a witness who said that a man, later identified as David Crumley, 38, was beating a woman. When deputies arrived, they found Crumley and the woman hiding inside a home. The woman said Crumley knocked her unconscious twice, hit her with a bottle, punched her, kicked her, and threatened to kill her. David Crumley was arrested for investigation of attempted murder and false imprisonment, booked into the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $1 million.
