A Yucca Valley man was arrested Sunday, accused of attacking another man. Deputies were called to the 58800 block of Natoma Trail in Yucca Valley about 3:45 a.m. for a disturbance. Deputies learned that Daniel Tomlinson, 43, was arguing with a 23-year-old Indio man over a civil matter. The victim said that Tomlinson struck him several times with a metal baton. Daniel Tomlinson was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon, booked at the West Valley Detention Center, with his bail set at $50,000.
