A Yucca Valley man was arrested Friday, May 7, accused of assault with a deadly weapon. According to Sheriff’s reports, deputies responded to the 58700 block of Highway 62 in Yucca Valley for a report of an assault. The victim told deputies that Jonathan Gregory, 40, of Yucca Valley, attacked him with a sword during an argument over bills, causing significant lacerations to the victim’s arms. Jonathan Gregory was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and was booked into West Valley Detention Center with bail set at $125,000.
