A Yucca Valley man was arrested Sunday morning for allegedly assaulting his brother. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies were called to the 7400 block of Kickapoo Trail about 10:30 a.m. for an assault. The victim told deputies that he and his brother, Dell Cannady, 56, were arguing when Cannady struck him in the head with a billy club, causing him to bleed. Dell Cannady was arrested on suspicion of assault, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000.
