The programs offered by the San Bernardino County library system are designed to help every member of the community develop a passion for reading. The future of many of these programs rely on the support of community volunteers. The Yucca Valley library is seeking volunteers to assist in several areas, including tutors for the adult literacy program. The next volunteer orientation is Saturday, March 10, at 9 a.m. Tutor applications can be picked up at the Yucca Valley library, located at 57098 Twentynine Palms Highway.
