The Friends of the Yucca Valley Branch Library will hold its Spring Book Sale this week. Gently used bestsellers, videos, DVDs, records, and magazines will be available. Up for bid on a silent auction table are rare, old, and just plain interesting items. All proceeds from the book sale and auction table will benefit the Yucca Valley Library. The preview for Friends of the Library is Tuesday, April 16, from 3 to 6. The sale opens to the public Wednesday from 11 to 6; Thursday, 10 to 5; and Saturday, 9 to 3.
