The Yucca Valley Lady Trojan varsity basketball team traveled to Desert Mirage High School yesterday and brought home a 52-32 Desert Valley League win. The win ups the girls’ Desert Valley League record to 4-2 and overall record to 7-5.
Coach Jess Geeson said Senior Angie Reutgen led the squad with 16 points and sophomore Sara Mills knocked in 15 points. Senior Destiny Lesley came off the bench with a spark and added 4 points. The Rancho Mirage Holiday tournament starts December 26 against Brawley next on the schedule.
