The San Bernardino County Fire department promoted six firefighters to Engineers during an orientation ceremony Monday (June 7). The Engineers were presented with their helmets and badges by family and San Bernardino County Fire personnel, kicking off their one-week orientation. Engineers Jesse Vasquez and Chris Adams-Snape will be assigned to Station 42 in Yucca Valley. The remaining four Engineers will be assigned to stations in San Bernardino and Fontana. The orientation will allow the new Engineers to learn roles and responsibilities, and hone their skills with veteran Engineers.
