Let’s go! To kick off winter break, Yucca Valley’s Esports program is inviting the fastest racers to a Mario Kart tournament. Gamers will race in two divisions, under the age of 14 and over 14, with both divisions competing in a best of 16 races tournament held on the 200cc mirror circuit. The first-place winner in each division will win $100 and a Mega Prize Pack of Nintendo Merchandise valued at another $100. 2nd place wins $50 and merchandise valued at $50; 3rd place gets $25 and $25 worth of merchandise. Registration is free and currently open online at yucca-valley.org or in person at the Yucca Valley Community Center. All players must have Mario Kart 8 on the Switch and access to Nintendo Online.
