Yucca Valley is holding a special outreach meeting on Monday (January 31) to inform the community about pedestrian improvement projects. The meeting will provide details on two different efforts to improve pedestrian accessibility and safety at key locations around town. The first project will see the widening of Onaga Trail to accommodate full-width pavement, sidewalks, curb ramps, and crosswalks, between Acoma Trail and Sage Ave, near Yucca Valley High School. The second project will see similar changes to Little League Drive, between Palm Ave and Sage Ave, near the park. The meeting will be presented by Yucca Valley Town staff and the town’s consulting engineers. The meeting is Monday at 6 p.m. at the Yucca Valley Community Center.
