The Yucca Valley High School Trojan boys’ wrestlers had their season come to a close Friday and Saturday at the CIF Inland Division Championships at Temecula Valley High School. Coach Brandon Whitbread said Trojan wrestlers Martin Kennedy, Isaac Arismendiz, and Michael McKay made it into the second day of competition, but were unable to break into the top five in their respective weight classes to qualify to compete at the CIF Southern Section Masters tournament.
Lady Trojan wrestler Vanessa Contreras still wrestles on, and will compete this weekend at the Girls’ State Championships.
