The Yucca Valley High School wrestling teams had a very exciting match at Indio high school on Wednesday, December 4.
The girls won their duel 48 – 24. The boys lost a back-and-forth match with 42-39
Then on Friday, December 7, the girls went up to Rim Of the World High School taking third as a team with Elaina Rudolph placed first at her weight class. Asia Rialmo and Chanelle Gephart placed second at their weight class.
The boys went up to Rim of the World High School on Saturday (December 8) where they placed ninth overall with Christian Underwood taking second and Theodore Williams taking fourth at their classes.
The team is looking for a very exciting home match against Desert Hot Springs tomorrow, December 11.
