YUCCA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL WINS HOMECOMING GAME AGAINST INDIO

The Yucca Valley High School Trojans had a big homecoming victory Friday night 62-34 over Indio. Coach JD Thompson said Caleb Robinson ran for six touchdowns and over 200 yards. Braden Brimhall had an efficient game at quarterback with a touchdown and over 200 yards passing. Albert Montes Reyes continued his stellar year with a touchdown and over 100 yards receiving and an interception on defense. Aiden Mitchell had a rushing touchdown and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

Other defensive standouts were Bo Platt; Tayten Shartel, who caused a fumble and had an interception; and defensive linemen Efrien Torres and Juan Martinez.
